Chris is an associate where his practice focuses on real estate and the financing and development of multi-family residential housing (with an emphasis on Section 42 low income housing tax credit transactions). Chris is also developing an entertainment law practice with an emphasis on music law; representing local Portland bands with the drafting of band agreements, reviewing and drafting licenses, and analyzing, drafting and negotiating various management agreements, distribution agreements, and record contracts. During law school Chris was the Technology Editor of the Willamette Law Review in Salem, Oregon and worked as a law clerk for the Oregon Department of Justice. Prior to joining Bateman Seidel, Chris spent his first two years of practice in the Portland office of Preston Gates & Ellis LLP. Chris received his J.D. from Willamette University College of Law and is admitted to the Oregon Bar.
