Karen L. Reed is of counsel with Bateman Seidel. Her practice includes real estate, environmental and regulatory law. Karen has experience representing landlords, tenants, developers and financial institutions in real estate transactions, including office, retail, commercial/light industrial and residential properties. Prior to joining the firm, Karen represented the State of New Mexico for 10 years, as in-house counsel, handling a wide variety of matters in areas including: real property and water law; natural resources development, management and restoration; environmental law; commercial law; and business regulation.

CIVIC ACTIVITIES
Karen has provided pro bono representation of disabled persons with respect to Social Security benefits determinations and employment discrimination matters. She also taught paralegal courses at a community college.
